Hannah Adams

Global Program Manager

Hannah has dedicated her technical expertise in social behavior change and gender/racial equity and social inclusion 'mainstreaming,' as well as her relentless allyship, to supporting communities around the world in creating human-centered, systems-focused development projects that address complex, climate-related challenges. To date, she has worked with grassroots and government leaders from over 15 countries, including Tanzania, Kenya, Senegal, Nepal, Pakistan, and Panama, and she joined WEA in 2024 as Global Program Manager to manage WEA operations in Indonesia and Brazil. Prior to joining WEA, Hannah worked for Winrock International, supporting management of a $110M portfolio of donor-funded projects that aim to improve the livelihoods and resilience of communities in the face of climate change through sustainable agriculture and natural resource management.

Hannah identifies as a queer, neurodivergent, black woman. Hannah's happy place is tending to her 120 house plants or on the couch with her wife, Kelsey, and two dogs, Maria and Wero, watching a scary movie marathon and crocheting amigurumis.
