Irma Fatmayanti has been a teacher at the Tasikmalaya City Sobat Bumi Forestry Vocational School since 2013. She was appointed as the school’s principal in 2016, and has since successfully carried out the school accreditation and received recognition as part of the Indonesian Forestry Vocational High School Student Competency award. She also led the school to receiving the Adiwiyata award, a prestigious nation-wide green award for Indonesia’s public schools.
Her love for the environment encouraged Irma to become the Coordinator for Planning at the Communication Forum for Watershed Management in her region. Her responsibility is to plan, develop, and carry out activities related to watershed health.
Irma also formed an institution called Nyaah ka Alam which focuses on environmental issues, education, women, and children. She was an initiator for the formation of KTH Wana Bakukung with Forestry Extension Officers from the West Java Province Forestry Service, and serves KTH through the Honey Cultivation Work Program and Forest Plant Nursery.

Irma Fatmayanti has been a teacher at the Tri Karya Husada Vocational High School where previously from 2013 to 2020 she took part in the Sobat Bumi Forestry Vocational School, Tasikmalaya City. In 2016 Irma was appointed as the Head of the Sobat Bumi Forestry Vocational School until 2020. While serving as the School Principal, he managed to get the Sobat Bumi Forestry Vocational School to get the Adiwiyata School award, which is a school that cares and has a culture of the environment of the City of Tasikmalaya.
Irma also takes on the role of Coordinator for planning and control at the FKPDAS (Watershed Management Communication Forum) Ciamis Region Coordinator for West Java Province who has the task of compiling an agenda and carrying out activities related to watershed health.
Her love for forests and the environment prompted Irma Fatmayanti to also form an institution called Nyaah ka Alam which focuses on environmental issues, education, women and children. Not only that, one of his contributions to the environment is also as an initiator for the formation of the “Wana Bakukung” Forest Farmers Group with the CDK VI Forestry Officer at the West Java Provincial Forestry Service and become a member of KTH with the Honey Cultivation Work Program and Forest Plant Nursery.
