Margaret Makio

Margaret is a co-founder of Mavono Women Group, where she encourages women to take leadership positions in their communities. She propagates bamboo and tomato seeds and sells them to local people. She also works with her group members to make mats, ropes and baskets using sisals and sells them both in their county and other counties.
