Gauri Saurin

Gauri Saurin is the Founder and Director of both the Gurgaon Action Plan and Bhumijaa. She actively works with the government initiating the revival of over 350 rainwater harvesting structures in the city of Gurugram and has led several campaigns to increase citizen involvement in waste segregation and composting. Under her leadership, citizens have become aware of the damaging impacts caused by polythene and plastic usage and the community is working to shift to organic farming practices.
