Surabhi Sharma works with the Centre for Health and Research Development as project co-coordinator. After completing her masters, she interned at the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI), New Delhi, where she studied the low routine immunization status of children in India. This led to a full time job as a Junior Consultant in a Reproductive Health framework project funded by DFID, UK for training and capacity building of private providers in Orissa and Bihar. She was responsible for preparing the training of MBBS doctors and developing the e-learning components of the project. Surabhi has extensive research experience, later working as a Senior Research Assistant in a project: “Portraying Breast Cancer survival in Delhi”, where she conducted quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, interviewing over 400 breast cancer patients. She was also involved in researching patterns of tribal migration in ten poor Indian states. Currently, Surabhi is working in project management for a Linear Growth project, which focuses on improving the health outcome of 12,000 women in their reproductive age groups based in an urban village of Delhi.
