Aisyah is the Founder and CEO of Yayasan Lombok Eco International Connection. From less than 20 customers in 2011 to over 300 customers Lombok Eco has grown fast over the past few years. They have partnered with craftsmen that regularly supply upcycled and recycled products, as well as employ people with different backgrounds and abilities. Lombok Eco has also become a Corporate Social Responsibility partner of the State Electricity Company in West Nusa Tenggara since 2014. In collaboration with JICA, thy launched Takakura Organic Compost. Their craft products are sold and distributed all over the world.
Lombok Eco International Connection was established in 2016 at aims at educating youth in ecology and environment. After the earthquake in 2018, most children and families in her region lost their schools and homes. In her efforts to rebuild what was lost, Aisyah created the “Eco School” program, which now includes 4 environmentally focused schools in Lombok. Aisyah sees the Eco School Initiative as an investment in the future through education and community empowerment.
