Thanks to our Generous Monthly Sponsors

Meet the WEA Champions who are helping us to scale our work here.

Sponsor a Month

We’re ready to scale. In the next 3 years, WEA will launch 30 projects, engaging 900 women in skill building, entrepreneurship and advocacy. These leaders will go on to reach over 135,000 additional women with their innovative environmental solutions for safe water, healthy food, protected lands, clean energy, and climate resiliency.

For our entire anniversary year, WEA champions are stepping forward to “sponsor a month”. We aim to raise $20k each month, which will go directly toward the WEA environmental project with the greatest need. We invite you to join a group of supporters who are stepping forward to pool their generosity and resources each month, thus maximizing our collective impact.

Each group of donors is highlighted on our website and social media, as well as invited to connect directly with our grassroots partners through special events. For everyone who participates, we will be hosting a private event in the Fall, 2017 to celebrate our shared accomplishments.

Here are some of the ways your anniversary gift can support our monthly $20k goal:

  • Join other WEA supporters with an anniversary gift of $5,000 or $1,000 to collectively reach $10k. This will be matched by a funder each month who contributes the other $10k as a challenge grant. Each month will prioritize the WEA project with the greatest need.
  • Sponsor a month with a $10k challenge grant that a group of WEA supporters will match dollar-for-dollar.
  • Fully sponsor a month at $30k, and help underwrite the costs of all participants in a WEA training project.

Your Impact

At the end of the day, stability in communities worldwide contributes to everyone’s health and safety on this earth. Without clean water, land to grow food, or forests to provide life, there is unrest. And we are all impacted. A planet where all people’s basic needs are met is possible. We just need to go back to the source — our world’s women — and make sure women are sourced.

Let’s do this!
