This special Women's Earth Alliance International Women's Day event will include a tree-planting demonstration, and an interactive discussion on the role of tree planting in women-led climate mitigation and COVID-19 response measures. Speakers include WWANC Kenya Co-Founders Rose Wamalwa and Stella Wanjala, Grounded Founder Julia Jackson, and WEA Co-Director Kahea Pacheco.
Join eco-fashion brand YES AND and WEA for a discussion on women's empowerment in the global sustainability narrative. Each attendee will receive a digital gift bag full of goodies from women-owned businesses.
