North America/Pacific Program Director
Daniela Perez is a strategic, equity-driven leader specializing in climate-informed, trauma-aware, and healing-centered leadership. As Regional Director for North America and the Pacific at Women’s Earth Alliance (WEA), she advances women’s leadership, climate justice, and social equity, overseeing programs in the U.S., U.S. Territories, and Mexico. She guides grassroots women leaders through capacity-building, mentorship, and funding opportunities, fostering networks of women change-makers at the intersection of environmental justice, gender equity, and community resilience.
Originally from Tijuana, Mexico, Daniela is deeply committed to nonviolence and healing justice. She holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Policy with a focus on Sustainability Education from Portland State University and is pursuing a certification in Trauma Awareness, Resilience, and Restorative Approaches from the University of San Diego.
With over a decade in the nonprofit sector and a proven track record in regenerative agriculture, food sovereignty, health equity, and gender and climate justice, she excels at facilitating transformative dialogues, coalition-building, and leadership development for systemic change.
