What does grassroots mean?

WEA works with “grassroots” leaders. But what exactly do we mean by “grassroots,” and why is it such an important part of what we do?

WEA supports grassroots efforts by:

🌱 Supporting local, community-based water conservation efforts
🌱 Activating awareness-building campaigns around seed-saving
