Ripple Week is WEA’s annual series of free, virtual events designed to inspire, mobilize, and amplify critical grassroots environmental solutions. This year’s theme is Abundance: We are What we Need, which celebrates the ways that our communities and the earth exist in reciprocity and in deep relationship with one another.
Watch the recording below, to hear Dr. Lyla June Johnston present her research on ancient, sustainable Indigenous Food Systems. She reviews the techniques, strategies, and underlying value systems that made these systems so successful, and we discussed how we might incorporate these elements into our practices today.
