Light a fire in solidarity with Indigenous elders, WEA and Grounded during COP26

Minga IndigenaGrounded and Women’s Earth Alliance invite you to join us on November 7th at 9AM (your time) to stand with Indigenous communities around the world, many of whom have been excluded from COP26.

On November 3rd, Indigenous Elders from Minga Indigena will light a Sacred Fire at COP26 in Glasgow to amplify Indigenous voices. This fire will remain lit throughout the conference. On November 7th, we will be walking alongside elders and youth carrying the sacred fire from the Hidden Gardens to the ICE Hub’s House of Original Nations. We are calling for our global community to be in solidarity with us on November 7th by lighting your own candle, wherever you are, and posting it to social media with the hashtags #SacredFireCOP26 #FuegoSagradoCOP26.
