Summer Edition of the WEAvings Newsletter: Change is in your hands

Women hold the seeds of change.

This season has been alive with activity, and full of generous, heartfelt action from our community. Through your support and partnership, WEA has launched three grassroots accelerator programs for women leaders in the U.S.Indonesia and Kenya. We’ve raised nearly $100,000 in seed grants through a generous $50k match and individual infusions of funds from people like you—an investment that will directly support each leader in our 2019 accelerators to take her work to the next level.

And at the center of this powerful activation are the grassroots women doing the masterful work on the ground of protecting our communities and the earth. For every story of women’s leadership we share (like Raihal’s below), we know that there are ten, twenty, a thousand more women engaged in our generations’ most crucial work of ensuring a safe, healthy and thriving future for our children, and our children’s children.

Thank you for being a part of our vision to stand alongside those women. To believe in and uplift their leadership. And to plant seeds of change together.
